The Mooning of the Amtrak is an held in the area of Mugs Away Saloon every year on the second Saturday of July. Thousands of people gather to drop their pants, or lift their skirts, along the fence as the amtrak trains pass by. Over the past couple of years it has turned into much more then just a mooning…now it is a festival similar to a Mardi Gras Celebration. The street is line with all types of vendors, party RVs and hundred os people. Between trains you may see an impromptu wet t-shirt contest, girls getting naked in blow-up pools and lots of flashing for beads.
